Jul 2018 Rock tour and tea for Bowie

Fans are invited to celebrate the 46th anniversary of David Bowie’s iconic album with a ‘Rock Tour + Tea’ at K West Hotel & Spa.

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars album artwork features the hotel’s name ‘K West’.

The ‘Rock Tour + Tea’ package includes overnight accommodation in one of K West’s plush executive guest-rooms with full English breakfast in the stylish Studio Kitchen the next morning, Glam Rock Afternoon Tea and the two-hour Rock Cab Tour.

The overnight package costs £315 for two people sharing. For four people, a second room can be booked at £195 for two extra guests.

For Londoners, the Glam Rock Afternoon Tea and Tour without an overnight stay is £212 for four people. Both packages are bookable via phone or email. Bowie’s glam rock master piece is said to be one of the greatest albums of all time that transformed British music, culture and art.

The 46th Anniversary is on June 16.

Formerly the BBC recording studio, Kensington House in the 70s and 80s, a five-minute walk from Shepherd’s Bush Underground, rock ‘n’ roll royalty have stayed, played and misbehaved at K West – Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Kinks and of course, Bowie to name a few. Since becoming a hotel, the venue has continued to strike a chord with musicians and music fans.
