Robin’s son does the Bee Gees

R J Gibb’s spectacular new music show is planned to tour the UK…

Following in Dad’s footsteps, he will be singing his own songs and celebrating the hit songs of his father Robin Gibb and the Bee Gees, with ‘special guests’ performing their own songs and glamorous dancers performing hits from ‘Saturday Night Fever’.

R J Gibb performed a spectacular new live music show at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London on Sunday, October 20.

He opened the show with a selection of his songs including ‘On and On’, ‘Let it Be You’, ‘Never Seem to Reach’ (Without You), as well as singing a selection of Bee Gees songs made famous by his father and the Brothers Gibb, including ‘Holiday’, ‘How Deep is Your Love’ and ‘To Love Somebody.’

R J and Bee Gee fans from throughout the UK and some from overseas who had flown in specially to see RJ in his new show.

Dancers from The London Cabaret Club danced to choreographed hits of the Bee Gees from ‘Saturday Night Fever’.

R J Gibb worked extensively alongside his father Robin. He co-composed ‘The Titanic Requiem’ with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and produced many tracks on ‘50 St. Catherine’s Drive’, his father’s last pop album, as well as co-producing The Soldiers, including their Gold level cover of ‘Gotta Get A Message To You’.

Dwina Gibb and the Gibb family were present with Bee Gee fans and celebrities, including Paul Gambaccini.

The event will also mark the release of R J’s first solo EP.
